GEORGE J. WORRELL

Pastor George Jamal Worrell was born March 15, 1991 in Atlanta Georgia to Sherriline Sims and George Worrell Jr., and is the youngest of four siblings. At a very young age, Pastor Worrell was called into the ministry a servant of the Most High God, and some even believed he was anointed while in his mother’s womb. His family knew then that there was something different about him when the enemy tried to kill him at birth, where he almost died before ever taking his first breath.

Pastor Worrell confessed his belief in the doctrine of Christ at an early age, and joined Christian Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA. Under the pastorate of the illustrious Bishop Henry White, Pastor Worrell started playing the drums at age seven, and singing in the youth choir. He credits both Bishop White and the members of Christian Missionary Baptist Church as being tremendous blessings in his life.

Pastor Worrell is a faithful servant of God, and a born-again Christian who above all loves the Lord. He is a wonderful leader, pastor and father of three beautiful children. The stern commitment of our shepherd is "God will not allow me to lead you into any place where I myself would not go." He preaches from the book, the BIBLE. HIS favorite quote to live by is; "We are the church for the streets".
